EOmega Coat Oil
The Balanced Fatty Acid Oil Supplement for Dogs with Omega-3, 6 & 9
How many of these conditions does your dog suffer from?
- Scaly dry skin that is driving your dog crazy (and you too).
- Skin that is smelly, itchy and infected?
- Coat that is dry, sparse and dull?
- Constant gnawing and chewing on his paws?
- Ear infections with plenty of that black gook?
- Seems unhappy and even worn out from these conditions?
- A finicky eater – not interested in his food?
- A compromised or reduced immune system with related problems?
How about you?
- Tired of seeing your dog so uncomfortable and unable to get
relief? You even hear him scratching during the night when he should
be sleeping.
- You’ve already spent a fortune on allergy testing, antibiotics
and creams but nothing works for long.
- Even your vet doesn’t like to give the cortisone injections but
that seems to be the only thing that brings temporary relief.
If you answered
YES to any of the above statements then your dog
is probably eating or has been fed a dry, cooked and processed
commercial pet food. Even if you’ve already made the switch to the
Barf Diet but are still feeding some dry or kibble, your pet may
continue to experience some of these conditions.
The Miracle E-Omega Coat Oil
This
amazing new supplement will change your dog’s life forever. With our
special ingredient selection and formulation process, E-OMEGA COAT
will do wonders for your pet’s skin condition and overall general
health.
E-OMEGA COAT is an omega-enriched supplement and is a blend of
highly digestible natural oils. It includes the essential fatty acids
omega-3 and omega-6 blended for optimum utilization by your pet’s body
(see our supplement section on EFA’s) with added Omega-9. Omega 9 (also
known as Oleic acid) is associated with reduced insulin resistance
(improved glucose or blood sugar) function, and improved immune system
function.
Benefits of E-Omega Coat Your Pet Will Enjoy
- Your pet’s coat will be shinier, smoother and softer
- Relieves itchy skin and dry, scaly conditions
- Helps pets with kidney problems by aiding in the proper
utilization of nutrients.
- Increases food palatability – even the most finicky eaters love
the taste because we’ve added Cocosoya oil to the supplement
- A strengthened immune system
- Reduced symptoms of arthritis due to its anti-inflammatory
properties.
Ingredients You Can Trust
Fish Oil, Flaxseed Oil, Cold Pressed Soy Bean Oil and Coconut Oil (
Cocosoya ), Vitamin E and Rosemary Oil.
Fish Oils provide a healthy blend of omega 3 and 6 fatty
acids. EPA and DHA from fish oil are precursors to the beneficial Series
3 prostaglandins, which regulate blood pressure and blood platelets,
water retention and immune function. DHA is important for the brain,
nerves, vision, hearing and adrenal function and reproductive health.
GLA is a precursor to the beneficial Series 1 prostaglandins which
decrease inflammation and enhance regulation of immune response,
specifically a reduction in autoimmune dysfunction and balance of
various hormone function.
Flaxseed Oil is the world’s richest source of Omega-3
fatty acids as well as some Omega-6 fatty acid. The omega-3 fatty
acids in flaxseed oil are not identical to those found in fish oil
because flaxseed oil contains ALA (Alpha Linolenic Acid). This type of
omega-3 is deemed to be important due to beneficial effects and
reduction of inflammatory conditions.
Cocosoya Oil - A blend of unrefined soybean and coconut oil,
Cocosoya Oil™ is a very palatable oil with the digestibility of fish
oil. It contains the natural properties of the soybean such as Lecithin
and Vitamin E, and also is abundant in unsaturated essential fatty
acids.
Rosemary Oil is one of the oldest and most respected herbs
that has been used for centuries especially as a anti-microbial
ingredient and found in many skin and hair cares, due in part to its
possible skin regenerative properties. Rosemary soothes and conditions
dry flaky skin and in some cases will also stimulate hair growth.

The best guide to feeding
dogs is to think about what they would eat in the wild, and then to try to
reproduce that as closely as possible with the ingredients we have
available. Wolves eat whole animals, from mice to caribou, and supplement
their diets with other things that they find, like over-ripe fruit that has
fallen to the ground, grasses, seeds, nuts and vegetable matter. Very
little grain would be found in the diet of a wild carnivore, and they would
avoid the moldy, toxin-ridden grains that comprise the majority of
commercial pet foods. Despite the fact that there is no evidence showing
that dogs & cats require carbohydrates in their diets, that is what makes up
most commercial foods.

These are the myths:
1. The digestive system of modern dog is
different from that of his
ancestors and therefore must be fed differently.
2. Dogs shouldn't eat bones and other raw
foods.
3. All dog food should be cooked.
4. You need a university degree in dog
nutrition to feed a dog.
5. The best way to feed a dog is with
commercial dog food.
6. Each meal you feed a dog must be complete
and balanced.
What about a balanced
diet?
Here's what Randy Wysong, DVM has to say
about a "complete and balanced diet":
"A 100% complete processed diet requires:
1. 100% complete knowledge of food.
2. 100% complete knowledge of nutrition.
3. 100% complete knowledge of #1 & #2 requires
100% complete knowledge of every science.
4. Since #1,2 & 3 are not possible, the 100%
complete processed diet is a myth."
So, even if the bag says "complete and
balanced", it's not likely that is what your feeding your pet. The truth is,
though, that the body knows what it needs. If you supply variety in the form
of a species appropriate diet, you do not have to concern yourself about
this aspect of feeding. Balance is achieved over time, not in every meal or
even every day. Can I feed a combination of
BARF and commercial foods? The purists
would tell you that you can not, because cooked, grain-based foods are
digested at a different rate from raw foods and you will create digestive
upsets if you try. I believe this is not good practice because I do
not want the raw food to remain in the gut or intestines any longer than
they need to be (risk of bacteria growth) But, I know of some who do and
have never experienced problems.
Some people transition from
commercial foods to BARF by alternating meals or days. There is no hard and
fast rule. Do what works for you and for your animals.

How Much Should You Feed Your Dog?
At A Dr. Billinghurst seminar when he was lecturing in the USA in
1998, he answered this question by showing a slide. One side showed
a drawing of a dog with her ribs sticking out. Under this drawing it
said, "Feed More". The other drawing on the slide was that of an
extremely obese dog and the caption said, "Feed Less." This is the
simplest way to decide: let your animals tell you by how they look
and feel. A healthy dog should have just the hint of visible ribs.
For those who need figures, 2-3% of body weight has been suggested
for adult dogs with 6 to10% for growing puppies.
