Gabrielle was born and raised in Cologne, Germany.  In 2000, she moved to the United States with her husband, daughter and their beloved animals.

Having studied art for many years in Europe and the U.S., and working in many different mediums and genres, such as oil and watercolor and still life and human portraits, Gabrielle discovered her true love in the art world, pet portraiture, specifically the portraits of dogs and cats.  Using colored pencil, Gabrielle captures the true personality, physical characteristics and unique qualities of dogs and cats in her work. One of her first works in this field is on display at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois

We have come across many talented artists over the years but Gabrielle Oetegenn really impressed us! Her company, Pet Pressions has just launched a new website and you can view her beautiful work there. Of course you can view a sampling here too - our beautiful dogs Lefty (German Shepherd Dog) and Dupree (Karelian Bear Dog) and below them Denelle's dogs, Pacman and Spanky. We are delighted to have her immortalize them with her wonderful talents.
