Many boarding facilities charge $45.00 and up (for one dog or cat) for private suites. We believe your home is your pup's favorite "private suite" and where she/he will feel most comfortable when you are away. This service is also perfect for those pets that suffer from severe separation anxiety, for those who have medical needs or for older pets who will become unduly stressed when away from home . Your pet's daily routine remains intact so there is less stress and anxiety.

We do ask that your pet sitter be allowed to utilize your phone and TV and microwave/stove.  Pet sitters will bring their own internet access, food and beverages. Your sitter will NOT utilize any services that will cause you to incur charges (such as pay-per-view, long distance, etc.) No guests will visit the pet sitter and definitely no entertaining - you set the rules and we follow them! Dishes and linens will be washed and dried prior to our departure so you come home to the same house you left.

We meet with you first - after the first meeting you will no longer feel as if a stranger will be staying in your home.

This service is very popular and extremely limited in availability, therefore it is recommended that you reserve this service as far in advance as possible.

Basic Rates:

Overnight Pet Sitting: (Rates are for each night. Nightly charges incur for any service provided after 2 p.m.)

$60.00 per night  - up to 2 dogs and 2 cats (Rates are higher for extra pets*)

Extra Dog Walking: (we provide 1 free 30 minute walk per day with overnight service)

One 30 minute walk: $20.00
One 45 minute walk: $25.00

We offer these daily services if overnight pet sitting is not desired

Our Team

Jaime Stokely - In-Home Pet Sitting Specialist/Kamp Kanine Office Manager - Jaime is John and Bonnie's niece and has been working with and training dogs for the past several years. She is course certified by NAPPS - National Association of Professional Pet Sitters - is bonded and, as are all of our employees, Red Cross CPR Certified. Jaime works during the week at our daycare facility, Kamp Kanine in Encinitas. She owns a wonderful little rescue terrier mix named Bozlee who attends day care every day.

Jaime's clients appreciate her experience and knowledge of pet care, as well as her cleanliness and organizational skills. She will take excellent and personal care of your pets and your home.

Jessica McCloskey - In-Home Specialist/Customer Care Manager - Jessica is John and Bonnie's daughter and has been working with and training dogs from a very early age. She has worked for several local veterinarians, was a Customer Service Manager at PetSmart and worked in the staffing industry before returning to JNDTC. Jessica's extensive involvement in the development and growth of John's Natural Dog Training has been invaluable.

Her knowledge of canine psychology and behavior is extensive. Her clients appreciate her attention to detail, her ability to teach and convey our training philosophy and her customer service. Jessica also provides doggie daycare and pet sitting services to limited areas in San Diego. She is able to provide daily training, socialization and behavior modification for these clients as her schedule permits. Jessica is a certified AKC Star Puppy and Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
